On Thursday night, we went to a fundraiser for Melisa Skinner who is running for the 290th Judicial District Court bench in Bexar County. I started my career at the DA's office thanks to Melisa. She hired me to be her intern. I am very excited that she is running for judge. She will make a great one! Also at the fundraiser was a former colleague of mine, Scott Roberts, who is running for the bench in County Court at Law No. 11. Scott and I worked in the appellate section at the DA's office. He will also make a fantastic judge!
