We celebrated Scarlett's first birthday (I can't believe she's already one!) at Gymboree Play & Music. I am not kidding when I say this was one of the most fun parties I have ever been! Everyone had a blast...including the parents. It has been such a wonderful year with our little Scarlett. She is such a sweet, happy little baby. She already says "thank you" and "mama" and "dada" and says "D" for Demí. She can pull herself up and cruise around the furniture, but she's not close to walking yet. She already has 5 teeth (2 on bottom, 3 on top). She can waive hello and bye-bye, she can blow kisses, she plays peek-a-boo (and says peek a boo), she gives high fives, she loves itsy bits spider and does the hand motions, and she will snuggle you every single time you pick her up. She is obsessed (and I seriously mean, obsessed like will lunge for her and will cry if Mimi's not holding her) with her Mimi. She is very tiny, weighing in under 20 lbs. She is an excellent eater. I think the only thing she refuses to eat is green beans (although she will eat them pureed). She is very different from Demí (as in not demanding at all and very mellow). She is our little chub!
Auntie Courtney and Campbell came all the way from Dallas just for the big day! Demí, Campbell and Scarlett all had Hungry Caterpillar dresses made by my dearest friend, Cara.
