Demí's first trip to the Zoo!

According to Demí, the San Antonio Zoo only has two types of animals: ducks and dogs. If it has two legs and feathers, its a duck. If it has four legs, its a dog. For example: flamingo = duck, bald eagle = duck, ostrich = duck. Rhino = dog, tiger = dog, elephant = dog.
This "dog" was Demí's favorite, probably because it was so close. She got very excited and made her "oooohhh" face and sound. She also squawked a couple of times.
This is another dog.

A guide showed Demí the flamingo feathers and let her touch it. She also showed us how the flamingos use their beaks to eat.

Of course we chose to go on the day that was record breaking attendance. It was so packed, but we were able to see all the animals we wanted.
